This was a 3.75 stars for me. Thank you NetGalley for giving me the chance to read this book!

I really enjoyed this book.
We have Alice and Leo who move into a house and everything seems to be great until Alice finds out that the previous owner was actually murdered there. And this is where everything starts, where suspicion creeps in and everyone becomes a suspect (neighbours, family, friends).

I was very puzzled by Alice decision to stay in the house even though she was very afraid and shocked by the murder that took place. Especially since weird things started to happen in the house.

All in all a good, fast read!

Alice and Leo move into their newly renovated house in The Circle, an exclusive gated community, to start their new life together. The Alice discovers a devastating secret about the house, and she becomes obsessed with figuring out what happened to Nina, the therapist who lived there before. Her new neighbors and friends are hiding something, and soon Alice realizes that things are not what they seem…

This book is full of secrets, lies, and deception, and I loved it. The plot was well-developed and the pacing was just right. There are tons of suspicious characters that kept me guessing about where the story was headed, and the ending left me shocked!

Huge thank you to St Martin’s Press and B. A. Paris for my advance copy!

It's a 3 stars read for me!
It's a good, engaging, and quick book. Keeps you going as no secrets are revealed till the end.
It has potential but it is a bit lacking in creating the scary suspenseful vibe according to me.
And I had suspicions and guessed the murderer well before the reveal so yeah no "what the hell did I read" moment for me....
All in all a quick engaging read to get through in a day.
