Author Raine Miller aka Brit DeMille is on fire with these hockey romances!
Just when I thought I had a favorite in her Vegas Crush series, Viktor and Scarlett's story won me over just like the rest and had me swooning hard.

Scarlett brings out the soft swoony side of Viktor that had me falling head over my hockey skates in love for him.
This story had me fully entertained and can be read as a standalone.
Get ready to fall hard for Viktor who is such an alpha male to the 100th level but when him and Scarlett get together, their chemistry is on fire!

This is my first book by this author, and since it’s the third in a series... I was a bit daunted. But after finishing it, I can absolutely say that you can read this as a standalone book. So I’m a huge hockey fan, this book really sets the appetite but most of it surrounds the main characters relationship. Scarlett is a young twenty two but she’s had some bumps in her dating life that make her cautious. Viktor...aka Mad Russian sees a young, hot redhead and wants her. Sparks fly.

What did I like? This is an easy read, and sweet idea. I really enjoyed how adult Scarlett was... even after the Russian stood her up the first time. Her character was really surprising and wise beyond her years. Viktor....well let’s just say once he came around he got on board. Loved the HEA.

Would I buy or recommend? Oh yea. Your going to want this one. Hot hockey player and a sexy redhead... well the combo is dynamite. I’m not too fond of drama, so that made this a recommended read.

Thoughts for the author? Congratulations on your new release! Thanks so much for the giveaway where I landed this amazing book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great book thanks!

BLURB:
“They call me The Mad Russian for a reason.”
—Viktor Demoskev, VEGAS CRUSH

My reputation as an Enforcer was earned one game at a time. Fighting on the ice for my team is something I take very seriously because I came to the USA to play hockey, not be a celebrity.

Unfortunately, this logic has my public image taking a beating—not that I care very much how others think of me.

Except for her.

Scarlett.

A woman as gorgeous, and fiery, and sexy, as that long red hair of hers. Which would look even more stunning spread out on my sheets with my hands tangled in it all night long while naked, of course.

It is unfortunate that she also works for the team. In Public Relations... So yeah, the no-fraternization policy is an issue but hardly my main concern. The biggest hurdle is Scarlett thinking I'm part of a gambling ring for the Russian Mafia.

Crazy, right?

I can deal with setting her straight about her ridiculous suspicions, but cracking through that hard shell she has built around her broken heart? This is my real challenge.

But oh how I love a good fight. Winning is everything to me.

Especially when the prize is the Las Vegas beauty I named the Red Rocket…

*RED ROCKET is a sexy STANDALONE sports romance about a Russian hockey enforcer with bad reputation and the feisty redhead from the PR department who just might be the one person who can help him shine up his tarnished image. "Public Relations" is about to take on a whole new meaning!

REVIEW:
Raine Miller wrote a great sports romance with this one! Hockey, Russia, Mafia, Romance, Vegas? What more could you ask for? This easy read was about PR "Red Rocket" Scarlett and her Russian enforcer hockey player Viktor. Together they navigate life trying to find love after loss. I could only wish for more! I especially loved Viktor and all his gruffness turned softy!

Red Rocket is book three in the Vegas Crush series and can be read as a standalone, but totally think it should be from the start, simply because the stories before this were just as amazing as this, But I have to say Viktor and Scarlett's story would have to be my favorite of the series so far.

Another fantastic read by Raine Miller aka Brit DeMille. I am loving Vegas Crush series so far.
It's only last year that I started to really get into sports romance, and this series so far has been one of my favorites. There is just something about a hot alpha male jocks that make me go weak at the knees!

I'm not diving into deep with this, because I think it needs to be experienced rather than me write a play by play...

At first, in precious books, I thought Viktor was a bit of a douche. He was cocky and arrogant in a way, a little self-center, but this book and the author prove me wrong. My first impression of him was wrong... Kind of. He's still pretty cocky and they don't call him The Mad Russian for no reason. But I could see the growth in him from being a side character to the main character and it was huge. There was so much more to this man and so much more to his story. He's protective, he is caring and at first, his life was all about hockey, and everything and anything relating to it. But when Scarlett comes into the picture.

Scarlett is a little feisty thing that has no issue being honest, she's strong-headed, smart, and a no bulls*it kind of person. She has never relied on others, she's been by herself for so long that the only person she could rely on was herself but deep down she craves more, she wants that stability she wants substance in life, she wants to feel protected and content and happy with someone, and Viktor is the perfect man for her. She embraces his alpha side, his rougher side, and his protective side and I think she finds comfort in it.

These two were perfect one another and I found myself completely captivated by them. Them as characters and their love story was very well developed and flowed so perfectly that I was found myself lost in the plot for hours. As the book progressed and got deeper into the plot, the more I saw changes in both characters and the more the two of them fell in place and formed a love that was not just sweet but damn, it was steamy and hot!

This was well written, it grabbed my attention from page one and completely had me spellbound until the last page of the book. I cannot fault anything other than I want more of these two.

All in all, it was heartfelt, steamy as hell, addictive and fun. I cannot recommend this enough, and the same is said about the previous books in the series.

5 Stars!

I was waiting for another book by this amazing and so talented author, Scarlett and Viktor story couldn't have been better, I love hockey and sport romance books, but the Vegas Crush series keeps climbing my list of best in this trope. This book is part of the series but can be read as a standalone. Fire and Ice can be together after all and this book is one you need to start reading soon!

I am sure it's just me, and it's odd as I usually really love this author's books, but it took me a while to warm up to Viktor...and I am not even all that sure why. Although, that said, I am glad I didn't give up on this one as I ended up really enjoying it.

Scarlett, however, is one of my all time favorite Raine Miller heroines. She was compelling, and interesting, and I really liked her from the beginning, so I definitely saw why he was attracted to her. And, this really helped me get past struggling to connect with him.

I liked them together, I liked the way they interacted, I liked how he was with her and how he respected her not only as someone he was involved with but also for who she was and wanted to be.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.
