I don't know that this is what I expected- but I thought it was awesome. I loved all of the characters and thought it alternated perfectly between hilariously relatable and sadly relatable. I want some of these panels for standalone art on my wall!

Interesting vibes throughout. Captures high school more effectively than most books about high school. Many strips are dated, not particularly funny, or so subtle that they vanish from the mind without a trace. But there are also a dozen true bangers that would, by themselves, be worth the price of admission. Every character gets a good moment — even Frances, in her very last panel.
