Excellent writing and pacing. I loved this one. The descriptions were so vivid and engaging I found myself completely wrapped up in it.

My third time reading King and I still don’t see what the fuss is about. Concept is deeply chilling, but my god does this man love to go off on pointless tangents. I’m noticing a pattern.

The concept of the Wendigo and the 'sematary' is great... but the slow and laboured execution and anticlimactic ending really soured this book for me. I had to listen at x1.5 to actually finish it. Meh.
