I searched for books that are similar to Colleen Hoover, but aren't written by her and that's how I found this one. I would say that there is little plot between long, detailed intimate scenes.

Fairly cheesy and basic but there were some spicy moments. Definitely not the best writing in the world but I was entertained.

Powerful, sexy, heart wrenching and just plain lovely

Archers Voice follows Archer Hale, a reclusive man with a traumatic past and Bree Prescott, a woman running from her own demons. And when they meet, magic happens instantly. These 2 broken people find a way to put each other back together again.

“Light shines brightest out of those with the most cracks”

They are both charmingly awkward. Their friendship and relationship is effortless and sexy as hell. Archer Hale is my new favorite book boyfriend! The more the story unfolds the more engulfed you become in the backstories that led each told them to where they are.

There were so many tears: happy tears, shocked tears, tears of triumph and moments when I wanted to scream. I felt it all! With each chapter there was more and more spice and then suddenly you’ve found yourself experiencing these moments of awe and wonder. There was nothing this book didn’t give you.

These 2 were made for each other and this love story was absolutely beautiful to watch unfold. I recommend this to anyone who wants to feel every feeling on the spectrum, believes that love conquers all and that trauma is survivable.

“Not all acts of courage are easy to see for the outside”

Look i don’t want to tell you how to love your life but stop whatever you’re doing and read this book, like now. If you don’t enjoy the hell out of it you can hold me personally responsible

“How do you teach a man who has lost everything, not to fear it happening again?”

Running away from the most painful night of her life, Bree heads to a small town hoping to finally find peace. Archer survived a tragedy to be faced with a world alone, yes he survived, but lost his voice in the process. Learning the hard way that people can be cruel he lives in a world all bye himself, until the day he meets Bree. Bree felt a pull the first time she met him and doesn't give Archer any choice but to be her friend. Learning that Archer taught himself how to use sign language to communicate, but never had anyone to communicate with draws Bree closer to Archer.

“Sometimes an understanding silence was better than a bunch of meaningless words.”

Bree and Archer start to learn how to work through their pain and how to find the courage and strength in themselves. But can Archer learn to love when he has already had to live with loosing everything he loves once before?

Once I started reading this book I could not put it down. I fell in love with the town, dinner and all the friends Bree made when she ran away and found her home. Watching Bree and Archer face their past and finding each other was a moving story that I loved so much.

I love this book so so so much. It's such a sweet small town romance. I loved that Bree was willing to take a chance on Archer - someone that everyone else had deemed not worthy. It was so cute how their friendship evolved into a romance. It was just such a heartwarming and beautiful story and it made me so emotional throughout. I was really hooked from the start of the book wanting to know what happened with these characters.

I think it's just a great book and is one of my top favorites of all time. There's nothing negative I could say about this book. The hero and heroine were both great and even the side characters were some of my favorites and they were so cute and wholesome.
