I don't really know how to rate this. the whole experience made me question the character of the person who lent me this, because what the fuck was that.

Tipico de franceses en los 6o, escribiendo policiales de atrofia sexual donde los perros hablan y los personajes se mueven de protagonismo como si nada. No estuvo mal.

A roller coaster that rises and dips from hilariously bizarre to severely discomforting with a story of youthful discovery somehow woven through it all. A wild read with an abrupt ending. More of an experience than a story.

This thing is wild. Like Palahniuk by way of hentai, homegrown from Hardy Boys seeds with jazz fertilizer.

"I'm woken by Andy Sigman, whose big hands are vigorously shaking me about. I was dreaming about having sex with a giraffe, and Andy pulled me away at just the right time because I was about to do something really stupid. I thank him, and then we start preparing for our jump down onto the island."

It's pretty safe to say Boris Vian was a better literary promoter than writer, and also, I assume, translator.

Todavía no sé qué pienso de esta novela delirante, ni si mi opinión es definitiva. Lo que sé es que, tras haberla arrancado, me la devoré casi de un bocado.
