3.5 stars. Heavy-handed foreshadowing led me to guess the Big Plot Twist very early in the book. For a while I continued reading just to see if I was right, but the main character really grew on me and by the end I was reading just because this book was fun! I thought it was a creative reworking of the Cinderella story and I'm looking forward to its sequel.

Wow...just wow! My prediction came true!!!!!! And now I really wish I had bought the rest of the series! My goodness. I loved this book so much!!! I cried.... several times...and I am not ashamed to admit that! I loved Cinder's character; she is utterly amazing! And Kai was...all right, but he was kind of clingy. BUT THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!!!!!

The book was average, but not in a bad way. The twist, revealed at the end, was extremely predictable. Either than that, this book was pretty decent.

✨Where do I begin with this book?✨

I wanted to read Cinder since it first came out, and finally did it.

The idea of a post apocalyptic society mixed with science fiction elements and fairytales had me since the moment a friend mention the existence of this book to me.

I personally think that there are so many retellings of Cinderella, and normally I am not a big fans of those, but Cinder has my heart because it made something different. Call it thinking out of the box if you may.

I enjoyed reading Cinder story and the world building. I get so immerse in the story, that even though I could see the plot twist coming I enjoyed every single second of it.

I'm looking forward to read the next book, I have a vaguely idea of what is waiting for me but I'm prepared to be surprised

Let me first start out by saying I hate the story of Cinderella. It gives girls the false hope that at the end of your tragic story, you will get a “man“. This story is nothing like the one told to little girls! It is so much better! Spoiler alert, she doesn’t take the guy! She leaves on her own accord and follows her dream like she started out the story with wanting. That made my jaw drop and I literally laughed out loud. I was so happy the author did that type of ending and not your typical “ Happily ever after“. Though, it was her happily ever after on her terms!
