Covers a lot of ground - traditional pottery, home vs. away, belonging vs. exclusion, love for seemingly no reason, and the loyalty of a much beloved dog.

The Earthspinner by Anuradha Roy is as beautiful in its prose as it is on the outside, an array of colors and fire in just the right places I loved the writing and how it holds the several themes together; longing, home, superstition, religion and a deep longing for the craft. Roy’s writing has an incredible charm that pulls you in as it pulls the reigns of her characters and the passion that drives them, be it love or a search for themselves.
Another thing that stood out for me is how these different stories develop independently of each other, even though one sets the other in motion and I thought it was wonderfully done.
Thank you so much to netgalley and publishers for providing an e-copy for me to enjoy and leave my honest feedback . I truly see this being an instant hit

I thinkg Anuradha Roy is a great storyteller and her stories and characters kept me reading.
There's a series of important issues and there're the simple story.
I loved it.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine

From the Booker Prize nominated author Anuradha Roy, the Earthspinner is a novel that merges two worlds together through discovery, creation, uncertainty, loss, and love.
It’s a beautiful story — one I don’t really feel the right to critique — but I can’t help but say that despite being as well written as it was, I found myself struggling to get through it. It often left me bored and wanting more. I really wish I loved it more than I did because I think it’s such an important story that needs to be told.
Thank you to HarperVia for the advanced copy!
