More good than part 1 of book 4. I'm losing interest. But I WILL NEVER GIVE UP on Mattie. I already have the copy of last installment which is the 5th book.
I shipped Mattie and Dan. Obviously they belong to each other! Too many boys involved! What a b***h! lol!
Also, its realllllly annnnoying why you need to give back story?! It took up so much of the story. And Mattie always ends up in a hospital?! Kinda redundant too. I also don't think that there should be part 1 or part 2 since the story is short.
I gave 3.5 stars coz of officer Dan and SILAS! I'm really curious about that demon! I want to know more of his history!
I'm really excited to know what would be Mattie's decision, what will happen, and what choices she will make. So???

Love this series. I love all the characters and this book left me wanting more. It left us on a cliff at the end waiting for the next book which don't come fast enough! I want to find out what other part of Mattie we don't know about. I fell like these characters in this book are part of my family. I think most all of them are likable in their own way. I can't wait for the movie!

I'm not sure why there is book 4 part one and book 4 part two. Seems like this could have been all one book. It was frustrating as most of it is Mattie being sick while people flutter around worried about her. Lots of hints and innuendo with nothing resolved.
I really like the series but feel cheated that I had to buy an extra book.

I read part 1 & part 2 in one sitting and my combined review of volume 4 as a whole is under part 1.
