This was a cozy yet steamy little story with no third act break up and all the steamy gargoyle goodies you’d hope for.

For how few pages there were and how much smut was packed in, it actually felt really balanced. There’s no way around instalove in stories like this but both characters had space for insecurities/doubt and the initial scene was delightfully unexpected. I really enjoyed the open-ended way the book ends too. My only real complaint is I wanted to actually have a whole book with these two. There were lots of moments I wish had more time to simmer.

Didn’t like the dominance thing, felt it didn’t match the rest of the story

Fun 80 something page novella that is honestly just all smut pretty much, but the smut was at least good. I liked that the fmc was a tall curvy girl with smaller boobs, some good representation of a different body type than smut usually gives. I like the chemistry between the two main characters and I actually wish we could’ve gotten to know them more separately and together.

Short and sweet monster romance. Very spicy scenes. Some quick tropes for ya: protective cinnamon-roll MMC, curvy plus sized MFC, dom-sub, voyeurism, size difference, etc. Wish this story was longer! I absolutely loved the two MCs. There is a bit of a set up for a sequel, but this is a complete standalone, with very little tension. HEA.
