Loved it! And the audio book is narrated by Hannah themselves with snippets from their shows, definitely worth a listen :)

I went into this book looking for books about autistic women and that is some of what I got, but there is also so much more. I can't really explain it but it was very good. It's not just about how Nanette developed but it's also a look into her life.

This book is very dense, and due to that I would recommend the audiobook. Also, it is read by the author and that gave it that extra oomph.

I loved their comedy specials on Netflix and really appreciated learning more about how the specials came to be and how Hannah got where they are. They had a really strong voice that carried through the book. I appreciated learning more about LGBTQ+ rights in Australia. I also appreciated them taking the stance of “my trauma is not a show to be played out and disclosed for your entertainment”
