VERY mixed feelings at first, and some bits were better than others. Last 150 pages OMG!!! And loved the power and maturity that women show within this book, as someone who is very interested in gender equality and research in it, this was vety interesting and a big highlight within the book.

This book made me cry. I wasn't quite sure about the inherent infidelity of the premise that these three women get stood up by the same man, but I trusted Beth O'Leary, and I was right to. And of course with this author the tackles mental health in an upfront way as well. I don't know that I'll read it again, but I'm glad I picked it up. Everything did end up worth it in the end!

A very slow burn for me, I really wasn't invested until all of a sudden I was hooked around 60% in.

Loved this book and would absolutely recommend it. It’s not a classic “modern romance” novel as I thought, in a way, although it is about love. The story unravels magnificently and absolutely draws you in. I loved all 4 main characters, and will read more books of Beth O’Leary. It has more depth than I had imagined.

I don’t give it 5 points because of
Siobhan’s story arc with the terrible break-up and being a life coach helping others to heal while not having healed herself.
