i don't think i will ever be able to put it into words, precisely how much i hated this book. i wouldn't say i enjoyed “devil's night” a whole lot in general—the only book i actually liked was damon's, and not even that one is perfect—yet, i still managed to have a good enough time while reading about the other guys.
will was... underwhelming, to say the least. which i find devastating, because he was the one—besides damon, who at least proved me right—i had such high expectations for. so much potential, between him and emory. and then penelope douglas decided they had to pull the stranded in the middle of nowhere / separated from the rest of the group trope. i am, nor will i ever be, a big fan.
this particular scenario almost never works with me, and “nightfall” was nothing but nth confirmation. i found this so boring, the whole mystery behind blackchurch and the new cast... who asked? aydin was at least somewhat interesting, and i would have liked seeing more of him with alex, but at what cost...

This was just okay. A small collection of epilogues that take place before the epilogue in Nightfall. It was kinda nice to see more of the family dynamics of the group.

I wouldn’t say this is a must-read. Nothing that happens matters to the end of Nightfall. It was honestly pretty chaotic and messy. Way too much trying to be crammed into a 100-page novella.

Also there was a criminally minuscule amount of Will, and way too much Michael. The only really good part was Damon bonding with Christiane.

3 weeks, 6 books and 2500 words later the Horsemen saga has ended. Cannot believe it’s finished!!

It was a pleasure to discover Penelope Douglas and her writing style.

While some of the scenes, plots and characters’ actions and motives are absolutely ridiculous sometimes, hey, it’s a book series about spoiled, traumatised rich American youngsters going to a private highschool so you kinda know what you’re going into

From all the couples I think Will and Emmy are the least toxic and that says a lot. That’s why Will may be my favourite one as his feelings towards Emory are less coming from a toxic place

I don't even think I can put my feelings into words. Will deserves everything good in life. Will and Emory for live. I love them.
