This is very different from what I expected of Stephen King and I loved it!! I enjoyed the little bits of fairy tale lore laced throughout the story and the dollops of King’s world mentioned too. It was a fun story to listen to and a great twist on fairy tales in a very Stephen King way!

The first and last third of the book is excellent. It has a terrific and satisfying ending. The references to other stories is fun and works well as a fun nod to other work's lore.
