I love love LOVED this book. The art is so cute and every single cat and human is from a different country, including some lesser-known countries like the Isle of Man! It's wonderful to see such diversity. The cat breeds are also not only all different, but there's a brief rundown of them in the back with some trivia. It makes this book educational on so many levels.
The most important feature, though, is the way the cats' emotions and actions are compared to what we do as humans during the same circumstances. It makes it so much easier for kids to "get it" when it comes to the empathy needed for the animals in their care. I've no doubt this will be a mighty helpful tool for new cat caretakers to bond and respect their kitties.
