Thrilling and addictive, this book had me hooked from the first page. The writing was quick and mysterious, always making me beg for more to be revealed. I found the beginning to be kind of slow and the end to be wrapped up too quickly, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Come for the intense sisterly conflict, stay for the in-depth investigations of an accomplice’s psyche.

I really loved the writing style of this book. The short chapters make it go by very quickly too! It was a fun read and even though I don't typically go for thrillers I enjoyed it.

The novel does a great job at creating no likeable characters. As an older sister and perhaps someone who low-key feels like i'm not as liked as I should be, I related to Kerede's gripes with her beautiful younger sister sailing through life, turned up to the max. It's a very easy and fast read. Despite this I did feel like the plot was a bit flat- beyond the initial concept that the sister is a serial killer there wasn't as much action or suspense as I would have liked. It was cool to read a book set in Lagos and where the characters spoke in the local English variety and other local languages

Oikeastaan kirja oli viihdyttävä lukea, mutta niin nopea ja lyhyt, etten ehtinyt oikein muodostaa tunnesidettä hahmoihin, joten lukemisen jälkeen tuntuu lähinnä vähän tyhjältä.

Vetävä kirja kyllä on ja sisarusten väliset tunteet ja salaisuudet hienosti kuvattuja.
