I absolutely love Maggie's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I loved the chemistry between Riggs and Blakely. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ended on a cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series The Vow to be released on audio so I can get more of their story.Â
Connor and Ava did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like billionaire romances, dark romances, age-gap romances, forbidden romances, or forced proximity romances.

Oof this guy was 🚩 central.. this book was decent, but it jumped forward a bit too much, with weeks and months passing between chapters. Curious enough to read the next book to see how the duet ends, though.

I went into this book blind! I don’t know of the Dom/Sub world and neither did Blakley! She saw a man, one that tests her limits, breaks down her barriers and challenges her trust. Her family has taken her identity, freedom to live independently mentally, and are very naturalistic! Riggs is a very prideful, intelligent and sexy MC who shows Blakley his world, one where once you enter, you can never leave…because you don’t want to. This duo has you on the edge of your seat never wanting the book to end…UNTIL THAT CLIFF HANGER!! I’ve jumped right into book two! But here is a quote that just sticks with you…
