So cute - reminds me of Beverly Cleary. I like that Clementine gets in to "trouble" often but is not disrespectful to authority figures; she has good intentions! A sweet, fun read for your beginning chapter-book readers.

I adore the Clementine series and this latest installment does not disappoint. In fact, this might be my favorite book in the bunch. Clementine is a spunky, active, artistic, empathetic math whiz who has a penchant for finding trouble. Sara Pennypacker (you've got to love that last name) writes a humorous and touching story without becoming cheesy or unrealistic. It is a good choice for parents and younger elementary students.

So far... while I still am enjoying Clementine, this is my least favorite because there is an entire play on a teacher's name sounding like swear words that seems unnecessary, especially for the younger set...
Overall--I enjoyed this, and just really love Clementine!

As always, Clementine is hilarious and a great fun to read about. However, the higlight for me was her description of an Antiques Roadshow type television show her parents watch and she proceeds to get into some nasty trouble by following the show's example. I couldn't help but read parts of this book out loud. It just screams to be read aloud...adults might even find it more humorous than children. This was a very quick read and had me laughing out loud the whole time...a typical Clementine adventure.
