In the beginning this kept me interested. The amount of times Caz thought about Pete for some reason annoyed me so much. I began to hate Pete and he became the enemy in my mind.
To find out Caz and Smith were the only real contestants and the shit they put them through pissed me off and then for Pete to leave Caz again…..ugh livid.

Just terrible and I’m sorry the ending was terrible. So mad at myself for muddling through over 130 chapters.

This book had so much potential, but it didn't work out for me. I think it was way, way too long. Usually in a thriller I think there isn't enough character development, but here there was the opposite problem. We kept hearing about the characters' pasts, and problems, and fears, and plans for the future, and I just didn't care. I needed more action and less talking. I had to set this book down around the 30% mark because of life stuff, and completely forgot to pick it back up for more than a week. That was how not thrilling it was.
