So good. Couldn’t put it down even though I had to, we all need sleep!!
Current story line on many levels especially the use of social media. I never had a problem with bullying or mean girls, I had a fantastic group of friends, but I am beginning to think I was very lucky. I can certainly see it happening a lot more these days.
Was great to read a Thriller from a woman’s point of view as I’m so used to Jeffery Deaver novels.

This was a standard thriller book. I went into it with no particular expectations, so it wasn't disappointing. The writing was good, and the story was as expected for a thriller. I can't say that it stood out particularly.

It is worth reading if you enjoys this type of book.

Facebook excels at finding people for you to connect with - from its never-ending suggestions of people “you may know” to its instant notifications of friend requests. It just takes one little push of a button. Do you accept…decline? Especially if it’s someone you haven’t even glimpsed in 25 years….because they’re dead?!

A friend request from beyond the grave sets into a motion this mystery of past secrets, misdeeds, and mistrust. One final class party all those years ago is when Maria went missing, presumed to have drunkenly fallen off the nearby cliffs…but things were and are never what they seemed. Did Maria really perish, or did she go into hiding, plotting decades’ worth of revenge against her teenage tormentors? The only way to really know for sure is to accept her friend request…

I liked this story; it was a quick, easy read of Lifetime movie guilty pleasure. I thought some of the details leading to the conclusion suddenly sprang out of nowhere; I would have enjoyed a bit more breadcrumbs to follow. But, this one kept me busy during the downtimes of my kids’ baseball games and served me well for light reading!

Friend request had so much promise due to a brilliant plot but the main character was so annoying I simply couldn't care. Henry was great though, he felt like a realistic portrayal of a sweet little boy and reminded me of one of the kids I babysit.

The writing was quite good and I may pick up another book by this author

i actually have mixed feelings about this book. i've finished it last night at almost 3am lmao and i can't say it was my favorite. it was rather confusing at the end because only then everything comes to pieces and deaths and everything what was only a mystery for Louise. i was like what the... only 70 pages left and nothing is being revealed??? and maybe that's why i didn't kind of like this book. everything that happened were placed in a few pages at the end of this book. i think the author should have gived more pages for the explaining to whats happened. it's the kind of book u forget after some time.
anyway, i liked Louise as a character. her love for Henry, her son, is unconditional and it was cute to see how she protects him and loves him. i especially wanted for Louise and Pete to get together, but oh well... never happened, unfortunately.
good read, but not one of 2019 favorites.

3.5 stars - really good book, but slightly repetitive here and there. Can’t say I was massively shocked with the story line but I do recommend reading.

This was a fantastic thriller that I just couldn't put down.  It was a real roller coaster ride.  I loved all the tension in the book, having me on the edge of my seat by the end. What I loved the most about this book was that I didn't see what was coming. I definitely recommend reading this amazing story.
