It was cute and predictable. The epilogue, like most epilogues, kind of ruined the otherwise fine experience. It went from cute and harmless to saccharine and twee very quickly. But it is what it is, a holiday fluff piece, and so was fine.

This was a lot better than I was expecting. Of course, it's super predictable like most of these holiday romances are, but the characters managed to have some depth and the dialogue wasn't annoying or catch phrasey. No sex at all, so if you're coming to this looking for some steamy scenes, this ain't it. But it's sweet and hopeful. Nice Xmas read to lift me up a little after the soul crushing book I finished last week.

Cute, short and sweet romance about second chances. A mix of Bridget Jones Diary and The Holiday (British setting).

A bit awkward in the beginning and definitely predictable throughout the book, but in the end it was kinda cute.

I’ve read a whole bunch of cutesy Christmas books and this was by far my favorite. Is it light and fluffy? Yes. But it also has really enjoyable characters, a plot that actually makes sense all set around Christmas in England.

Extremely cute story to listen to, when you are feeling down because of the war and end of the year.

I am delightfully surprised by this audible original book! It is a light hearted Christmas rom-com and exactly what I wanted to read. I enjoyed the characters and the rom-com tropes were done in a clever way.
