It was incredibly surprising when Nico confessed that he had a crush on Percy. I think that scene let him take something off his back. Rick Riordan is an amazing writer with incredible skill. Keep up the good work! I want to read more. :)

This was an excellent book! I loved how the story unfolded, how each of the 7 grows, coming into themselves.

My favorite is Leo, this guy is funny, sweet, and awesome.

Great Story

“Tell the sun and stars hello for me.”

I think this book is my favourite in this series so far. I just love it.

wow.
I’ve been on edge ever since Percy and Annabeth fell into Tartarus, and now that they’re safe (or mostly safe), I’m not really interested in reading the next book. oh well. i will anyway.

first, the reason this book only has 4 stars from me, not 5. when i got about 3/4 of the way in, i stopped caring. It was just too long.

next, characters. my opinion has not changed, I love them all (except maybe Jason, even though he was better in this book) but Hazel is my new favorite. I also know a lot of people dislike Piper, and I can see why, but I appreciate that she’s terrible at sword-fighting, slower than her other friends to concoct a plan, and a little impulsive, because that’s probably the kind of demigod I would be, and it’s nice to have someone really relatable.

also, I didn’t realize until this book and the last part of book 3 how strong Percy and Annabeth’s relationship is. sure, they were sweet together and seemed to love each other in a general way, but personally, I’d always liked Percy and Rachel together (yeah ik that’s unpopular). but Percy and Annabeth were tested so much together through this book, that I think they really are made for each other.
