This is the most understandable book I've ever read on gut biome and why it is different in different people, how to change it and what the bacteria are and do, from good to bad bacteria this book breaks it down in easy pieces and chapters that make sense and are understandable and actionable. I expect I will return to this again after implementing a number of changes recommended here. All the information in this book that I've tried has worked for me so I'm eager to try more ideas in this volumn. Also all the research cited and information that I followed to to research in other resources was validated as true.

My GP recommend this book to me. I re read this every 18 months or so just to refresh and reset my (un)healthy ways which might have slipped.

This book is easy to digest (oh my god I’m so sorry) and the chapters are broken down into manageable bite size chunks (ok I’ll stop now).

For a book on a very…dull? unglamorous? topic - this book does a wonderful job of bringing home just how important gut health is to our overall health.

Back to my easy to digest remark - it really is just that. For a science and medical based topic, it isn’t dense at all, and I found myself happily reading along not wanting to put it down. THIS IS A STORY ABOUT GUTS AND I COULDNT STOP READING IT!!!

I always feel better when I follow the tips in this book, and learning about gut health has changed my health for the better!

A great, easy, informative read. A book I’ll definitely keep on my shelves.

With a husband who had more than half of his lower bowel and intestines removed, we have long had issues with what he can and cannot read. I read this with great interest and feel I finally understand how we can use diet to help him. I visited you tube and watched a number of videos that reinforced pictorially what the book talks about and came away wondering at just how clever our bodies are. With this new knowledge I’m looking forward to making changes to our diet and lifestyle .

This doesn't illuminate anything remarkable that we don't know already, but it's presented in an enjoyable and thoroughly readable way. Dr Mosley also includes some wonderfully weird 'body horror' experiments that demonstrate our body's ability to adapt, destroy, and heal. It's motivated me to try and clean up my act, as it were.
