I am absolutely SCREAMING. I loved this book. Wren, her whole character made it such a fun first person pov. I loved how the book was dramatic because, you know, there is a literal comet that will destroy earth, but at the same time it read like a romcom. It was just so fun. I loved Comet the dog, even though he wasn’t a main focus it was such a fun addition to their trek. I will admit I was never to start this because of my mental health, but I have crossed that line and I am fine, and even better, I loved this book and got no anxiety from it 🤗

4.5

4.5 stars!! I was so pleasantly surprised by this book! I was in a reading slump when I picked it up, but it was exactly what I needed. The Prince and the Apocalypse is a fast-paced, easy, and surprisingly lighthearted read (as lighthearted as it can be for it being about the end of the world). The romance was believable, and I love the complexity of the characters. A great summer vacation read, especially if you're traveling Europe! excited to pick up the next one!

Ok I actually enjoyed this book way more than I thought I would. It was easy to read, super cute and heart wrenching all at the same time.
It wasn’t too cheesy that it left me feeling second hand embarrassment, but the right amount to leave you grinning at the page.
I can’t wait to read the sequel.

A thoroughly enjoyable, super-fast paced late night read . . . until you fall over the cliff at the end.

Theo is a prince (there seems to be a subgenre now for fictional British royalty romances), his issues with his family presented in an interesting way. I loved Wren. And I really loved the escalating intensity of their road trip together.

This book really picks up pace as you read it (a comet is crashing toward earth) and the desperation underlying the developing romance was nicely handled. And then . . . cliff!
