So much to THINK about. I like Kahneman's System 1 and System 2 thinking process. He points out that many of our intuitive reasoning processes (System 1) are flawed and why. Several examples can guide individual and group decisions to avoid these common fallacies. There are many principles that a first time reading is not enough to understand and apply, I will be reading this again.

A really interesting book that combines psychology, economics, and statistics with how we as humans make decisions. I learned a lot about how decision and thought processes work and how we can improve them.

Hard to believe I’ve been reading this book on and off for four years! Lots has been published in this space in the intervening time but this is still a great primer for people who want a systematic way of thinking about thinking. The last bit about “two selves” for me personally has really changed the way I interact with and structure my free time. Super glad to have read it and looking forward to seeing more where is area of study goes.

This book took for forever to finish - a solid month and half. Well written and interesting concepts but intellectually challenging. I would only recommend for those who want an academic read for how the mind operates. This is not a leisure book!
