Dnf @30%. I usually love this writing duo. I'm disappointed, as I won this in a GR kindle giveaway.

Cuteness overload with the kid. <3
But irritating also, because the heroine really goes OTT and stalker-weirdo with her behavior at times.
Also, it felt strange that the hero just brushed it off so easily...

Good read.

I don't recall any other books by this author being so dramatic so I was a little sad this had chick lit vibes for part of the book. I did cringe and just couldn't read those parts properly.

Also the envelope not being opened sucked but the ending saved it.

Romance side was great. Loved how instant their connection was it just made sense.

Birdie has become my fav book child of all time and probably will stay that way for a long while.
The characters were all lovable like SOOOO lovable.
Sadie was such a sweet, caring, thoughtful, respectful woman she really is such a role model for birdie.
And Sebastian was such a great model for how a gentleman should be like and for how a man should handle all aspects of his life. Loved him.
And our little duke..!!!!! We Stan him.
And that unexpected freaking plot twist towards the end?!!! Oh boy was I not expecting that!!!!!! Perfect. Never saw it coming and never saw sth like that in any other book.
This book just got me out of a months worth of a slump god bless it✨

While this is a romance, there is so much more. Call it Fate. Call it Serendipity. Call it Destiny. Call it Divine Intervention. Whatever you want to call it, outside forces bring these people together in more than one way. Sadie falls in love with a younger girl who starts writing to her column in the magazine she works for (and you will too.) She is immediately draw to the girl and does what she can to help grant her some of her wishes. One thing leads to another and she finds herself face to face with the girls father. Her single father. Her single hot father. As much as Sadie loves this little girl, she's just as drawn to the closed off man. There are several scenes throughout the book that will bring a tear to your eye. It is a more emotional book. There is humor as well to keep things balanced. The characters are all wonderfully written and well developed. It's a beautiful story all round. It will keep you interested and invested. It alternates between POVs. There is some sexual content.
