The book added a little more depth to the  story over all and allowed for more character development. It has a decent ending cause you stop reading here and not need a sequel but it keeps interested enough that the short stories will be nice to read cause they don't feel force or unnecessary.

I liked this one better than the first in the series.

Another fun beach read. Dialogue bugged me, though.

In this sequel, the romance takes a backseat as Phoebe juggles controlling her powers and finding the truth about her father's death. To be honest, take away the fact that the characters in Goddess Boot Camp are all demigods and what you get is a typical high school novel. Troubled heroine, her boyfriend and the b****y girls out to get her.

The novel is simple enough to read, almost a chick-lit read really. Plot points were all very straightforward with the only mystery being who was the one who knew the truth behind Phoebe's father's death. The book ends with several loose ends untied which indicates a sequel is probably needed but whether Childs will actually write a new one for the series remains to be seen, as the author's profile doesn't indicate any new releases for the series at the moment.

DO NOT READ THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE READ OH. MY. GODS.!!!!!

Phoebe made the team and got the man of her dreams, but things are far from perfect. Since Nike's her great-grandmother, her powers are very strong and a little (okay, a lot) out of control. The gods aren't happy about this and decide to test her. The problem is that she doesn't know when or where this test will be. Damien enrolls her in Goddess Boot Camp where she's stuck with Stella, Adara, and a herd of 10-year-olds all day. Along with that, she is training for the Pythian Games. And is it just her imagination or is Griffin spending a lot of time with his ex? With all this stress, what's a goddess to do?

This book is just as good as the first. I love the character and relationship development in Phoebe and Stella. The characters seem like real people, with worries and emotions. They all have secrets, but they're believable, not over-the-top like in other teen fiction. This book tied up several ends, but left some undone still so the series can continue. I can't wait!

In Oh.My.Gods., Phoebe Castro was forced to pick up her life on the West Coast of the U.S. and move to a small, secluded island in Greece with her mother. She grudgingly gained a stepdad, an evil stepsister, and the knowledge that the Greek gods were not a myth. Phoebe was dismayed to earn the privilege of attending school with the powerful, teenage descendants of the gods and being cast as the inferior outsider. There were inklings about her, however, and she eventually learned she was not inferior at all, but rather a descendant of Nike, the goddess of victory.

Now, having come into her powers too late, Phoebe has a lot of trouble controlling them. She believes it is only a matter of time before she makes as terrible a mistake as her father did. Her stepfather has concerns as well and enrolls her in Dynamotheos Development Camp (also known as Goddess Boot Camp). Phoebe needs to learn how to control her powers quickly because the gods have decided to test her focus and control.

Camp turns out to be embarrassing as Phoebe is the only seventeen-year-old among a bunch of ten-year-old girls and the camp counselors include her evil stepsister and her archenemy. Life likes to throw all the punches at once: Phoebe has trouble trusting her boyfriend, Griffin, she is training for an important marathon, and someone digs up her father’s past.

I liked this one, but I didn't LOVE it like I loved Oh My Gods. The idea was very good, I just felt that the story fell a little bit flat. Still good, but nothing to write home about.

This was a good book, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first. I have been been trying to figure out why, but I just can't put my finger on it. Still a good read though.
