Loren tried to save Nic after an attack and ended up needing saving herself. Nic believed his only option to save her life was to turn her. When a group hunting vampires tracked them down, hiding wasn't enough, and Nic had to return to the family he angered when he left long ago and beg for help.

This was a different take on a vampire story but I liked it. Loren was a little irritating in the beginning with her reluctance to accept facts (understandably) but she soon came around. Nic always tried to be a good guy and do what was right for Loren, which was sweet. And Cat? She was awesome.

This was an interesting story, I enjoyed reading it.

Wow!!! This book was an amazingly written slow burn paranormal romance novel full of hot as hell steam and agonizing angst. These two authors together have truly written something unique and special. This vampire stand alone is a MUST for any paranormal romance lover!

Loren Stone is a tired, overworked pediatric nurse who really just needs a break. On her way out of her favorite coffee house, she witnesses a strange wild beast attack a hauntingly beautiful young man she can’t help being drawn to. In her efforts to save him, she falls victim to the beast as well. When she wakes up, she feels a change that she doesn’t understand and can only be explained by Nicholas Guerra, the young man she tried to save... and who is mysteriously healed as though he had never been attacked.

Nicholas Guerra is a vampire prince, the heir to the Guerra coven, the most powerful of all the vampire covens in existence. But he left that life long ago, when his father did something unforgivable. Broken by what happened in his past, Nic has sworn never to love again. Yet when he meets Loren, he feels drawn to her in a way he can’t explain. Holding a dying Loren in his arm causes him to make a snap decision - he sires her, causing her to turn into a vampire and causing them to become bloodbonded.

Siring a vampire without the permission of the covens is forbidden - and Nic has just broken all the rules. But the one thing he absolutely must not do is allow them to become bloodmated - although he desperately wants to claim her as his. Once you’ve bloodmated with someone, it can only be broken by death... and neither Nic nor Loren are ready to offer each other forever. Will they give in to their attraction? Find out in “Eternally Yours” by Harper A Brooks and Olivia Boothe!

I'm so incredibly happy that the vampires are back. That it's somehow cool again to write about eternal love and bloodsucking and wars between vampires and werewolves. So, when I got the chance to get an ARC from this book, there was literally no chance that I was gonna say no. I'm thriving. I'm enjoying this comeback to the fullest. I missed my monsters, the monsters I have already loved ever since I was 8 years old and discovered they existed.

And this book is a thrilling ride from the very start until the very last page. I had so much trouble putting it down in between to work or to get my pages for the buddy read done. Brooks really manages to pull me into the story and to not let me go again and that's because she created an amazing mix of loads of wonderful elements that all work.

Firstly we have the sexual tension and the haters to lovers romance. I know that there are perfectly fine middle grades and young adults with vampires, and yet they always seem to miss something. Well, this book doesn't. The tension is there from their very first meeting until long after the last page and that tension only gets more intense because of both their attempts to stay away from the other and to not give in to those primal urges.

Secondly we have a really nice plot. It's not overly complicated, and in the basis even quite simple, but the combination of a royal vampire society consisting of different clans (and the marriage contracts and all other royal drama) and the humans trying to rid the world of the monsters with everything they have and our heroes both getting caught up in both sides' drama is just too good. There's always something going on. There's always a game to be played. And so many characters are totally untrustworthy narrators! You never know what's true!

And thirdly we have a cast of amazing characters. Of course our leading duo. I especially love how well they work together, how they balance each other, how there's not one of them so much stronger than the other. They really are each other's match. But there are also a few really well done side characters and I almost wished during this story that they would get their own story. So, who do I need to beg to get a full length story about Catherine and her love life? I'd love to read it!

“Ancient vampires, killer wolves, a secret human organization, immortality, and a love I never saw coming…”

Eternally Yours is an amazing paranormal romance story. The story doesn’t follow your average vampire novel plot line. Instead it brings something new and refreshing to the readers who adore anything paranormal. Right from the get go it is hot and passionate, lovingly written and keeps you wanting for more.

Loren is your every day nurse, with long working hours, cramped apartment that she shares with a roommate she doesn’t like and a father with diabetes. Her passion is to help her patients and save lives. All of her carefully thought out future plans crash when she gets mauled by a scientifically modified wolf and ‘saved’ by Nicholas Guerra.

Nic is a vampire prince, destined to unite two families of great power. He has wanted nothing to do with his father and the rules of the coven. He has been in many battles over the years and detests human casualties. When the fight between the vampires and the Order threatens to take another human life he does all he could to not have Loren’s death on her hands.

The story takes Loren and Nic through a series of events; fights, longing, frustration and heartbreak follow the two around, giving them no rest. I loved everything about their forming relationships to the difficulties they had to face.

Incredibly captivating, heart stealing 5-star read. If you love your romances steamy and sexy with an amazing backstory that is a must read for you.

It has been a really long time since I've read a vampire book. A really, really long time. It was nice to get back into something I'd previously enjoyed but with a more adult take!

The intricacies of how vampires work in this book are a little different than any others I've read before. There's of course the blood lust and such with some added things that I won't spoil for you, but know that the lust portion goes deeper in this book than most.

I really enjoyed both the characters, and several of the side characters too! I was frustrated with Loren several times but also kinda understood her perspective on things. It was like she was blind to danger, though, and it's like girl, get it together! Nic I really enjoyed, even though it takes him so long to get over what happened in his past.

The story line will keep you intrigued, wanting to know more. I really enjoyed the perspective of the vampires side of things, but this one also made me want to see things from the perspective of this wanting to take them out. There's a lot of hatred there and I want to know why!

Overall, you should definitely give this one a try! It's a great take and it's very realistic in how gruesome it could be to be a vampire and the benefits of it as well. If you like that and liberal amounts of spice, this is the book for you!

This was a wonderful quick read. As a standalone I feel like the pace was just right. It starts out right away with getting right into it. The world building was good. Being a stand alone, it wasn't over done, but not under done either. I really like our main characters. As a side character, I really loved what we saw of Cat, I would love a story about her. You get everything you need from this one. A dash of angst, a good helping of spice, a sprinkle of bad stuff, and lastly a nice HEA. I wish I could get just a little more, but then again, I never truly want a story to end.

Wow! I was blown away with this slow burn pnr romance. I love stories with vampires in it so reading this was definitely a treat!

Our FMC Loren is a regular human, working as pediatric nurse (over worked of course, poor gal!). While she’s leaving her life blood aka her favorite coffee shop, she sees something strange. A very handsome man is being attacked by a wild beast. She tries to save him & unfortunately falls victim herself.

Nicholas is the man she was trying to save, and he’s got a lot to explain to our girl. All about the new world he thrust her into, when he changed her into what he is. A Vampire. Our guy Nic is not really in a wonderful plan, he left his coven long ago and broke a few rules.

Their story is filled with angst, push & pull and so much more. Find out what that more is when you read this book!

Eternally Yours is a paranormal romance novel by Harper A. Brooks and Olivia Boothe. Eternally Yours is a gripping paranormal romance that is a stand-alone novel with a HEA. These two authors come together to write a slow burn romance novel about a young human woman who finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and finds her whole life changed in a matter of moments. Her intentions of being a good Samaritan place her in the cross hairs of a dangerous war that has been going on for centuries between vampires and humans. Humans upping the ante by creating new monsters, but Loren are going to be something new…purely by accident.
Eternally Yours is one of those paranormal romance novels that will grab you from the beginning and pull you into the story leaving you page-turning to the very end. Loren is an engaging character overall. She’s living her life, and takes a mundane break to get some coffee and really gets more than she bargained for when injured Nic crosses her path out of a dark alley, followed by a dangerous monster that destroys her life. I like how strong Loren is. She gets put through a lot, but she doesn’t react like a shrinking violet. Now, I will admit that there are some moments in this book of where I felt that she overreacted or was a bit out of line and it doesn’t fully mesh with her character, but it’s not so much that I was put off from continuing the story.
There is so much going on in this book. Loren and Nic are the primary characters in this story, but Nic’s story really takes center stage in several moments of this story. His past and the things that he has been through throughout his life really grabbed me and kept me wanting to learn more about him and the things he’s been through. This book is a mix of slow-burn and off the walls steamy. The slow burn drove me crazy as I kept wondering…is he going to cross that “forbidden” line now? I honestly think that the slow-burn created more fire than the actual steamy scenes which was a bit disappointing.
Overall this book was well written and kept me engaged from beginning to end. I practically devoured this book as I chased the desire to know how things were going to play out for Nic and Loren. I love that we get a nice epilogue that takes readers a few years into the future, and for those of you looking for that happily ever after…for now…yes. LOL! Never know what the future holds.
I’m choosing to rate this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. The storyline, for me, was engaging from beginning to end. I literally devoured this book so fast because I was pulled in so quickly by the characters and the writing style of these two authors. I’m taking off half a star, because for me, the steamy scenes ended up falling a bit flat in comparison to the slow-burn moments of where the characters teased each other and created a build-up that created so much heat. I look forward to reading more by these two authors in the future, so if you are a fan of paranormal romance novels with strong characters then I encourage you to pick this book up.
