Coop and Beau's novella was the perfect bite-sized treat to listen to on an afternoon off. Their story started off with just enough background to get me attached to the main characters, and then took on a life of its own during Beau and Coop's cabin stay. Sure, it may have been a bit far fetched to believe that Beau just happened to stumble upon Coop's cabin right before a massive storm hit, but I was having too much fun with their will-they-won't-they sexual tension to pay much attention to anything else. These two were laughably unsubtle in their attraction to each other, and I knew it was only a matter of time before one of them caved and admitted it. Much to my delight, it didn't take long at all for Beau and Coop to agree to explore their feelings in bed, and once they got going I never wanted them to stop! Though they were complete strangers at the beginning of the novella, by the time the snow cleared I felt like Coop and Beau had formed a real love connection. Their story didn't extend much beyond their snowy staycation, but the little that it did assured me that Beau and Coop were going to give their relationship a real chance instead of letting time and distance force them apart.

**I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

Beau and Coop!

A heartwarming story about finding love when you least expect it. Beau and Coop had an adorable love story in a snowy cabin with one bed. Their happy ending was sweet and satisfying.

Very insta lovey, not fated mate kind, but the trauma bond kind.
It was short and sweet. It really gave me a taste of the authors story telling, as I've been interested in the other books in this series for a while. I'm now 100% going to give them a read ASAP.

A short and sweet introduction to Kiki Clark's new series Blue Collar Hearts.

We meet Beau when he walks into his fiancé cheating on him with his assistant. Beau decides to go up to his dad's cabin but on the way there and snow storm stops his travels and he ends up on Coop's driveway. And the rest is history as they say.

Coop is not looking for a relationship but meeting Beau changes something in him and he decides to take one more chance at love.

After a betrayal, Beau wants to escape everything around him and a snow storm does not deter him…. Although it should! Beau deters from his route as the weather is to much to handle, a last ditch effort Beau drives up to the only cabin visible and happens to house a grumpy lumbersnack and his adorable puppy.

Coop escapes to his cabin for time alone and the quiet, he does not expect for an adorable and clumsy man to arrive and ask for shelter. From the moment they met Coop feels a pull towards beau. This beauty of a man has been treated poorly and Coop is angry for Beau. Beau is everything Coop desires in a person…. Sweet, funny, kind and absolutely stunning with an arse that won’t quit.

I adore Beau and his optimism despite everything he’s been through and Coop although rough around the edges has given up on finding his other half, I love that Coop sees who Beau Turkey is and appreciates everything that Beau is and does.
This is a grumpy/ sunshine, low angst romantic story. Forced proximity allows feelings to grow and love to blossom, a beautiful read.

This was a really short but sweet story! I love a good snowed-in trope, and this one was so cute. Beau was an adorable character, and Coop was just his perfect pairing. He really needed someone who wanted to worship him, and boy did he get it. Although it was basically instalove, the story flowed really well and their chemistry with each other was so fiery and perfect that it didn't feel impossible for their feelings to have developed so quickly. And of course, Coop's dog Tucker taking an instant liking to Beau was a big help in making their connection feel right. I enjoyed this book a lot, and although I haven't read much from this author, I've loved everything I've read so far, so I'll probably be digging into more of Kiki's books soon!

I prefer stories with build up to a relationship, but this was an exception for me. Despite the somewhat quick nature of their relationship, I enjoyed the story.

This was a short and sweet story of opposites attract when Beau catches his fiance' cheating on him he escapes to his family's cabin but a snowstorm leaves him stranded in Cooper's driveway.

While Beau had some body insecurity due to his fiance's derogatory comments Cooper was willing to show him just how much he worshiped all the things he may not have appreciated about himself.

This was very instalove and too close to breaking up for me to totally be invested but the steam was good, the body positivity was really good, and I do love a snowstorm one bed close proximity story. Overall keeps you warm on a cold night.
