I thought this play was funny, though not necessarily the obvious "bathroom" humor parts. Really, the funniest part was when the hypochondriac called for the maid near the beginning of the play.
The satire of the play lends an interesting perspective of the times. Moreover, I thought it was interesting that Moliere himself played Argan, the hypochondriac. The irony is that Moliere died yesterday after one of the performances.

Definitely my favorite of Moliere's works. As a bit of a hypochondriac myself, I can certainly relate to some of the hilarious situations in this play. Just as funny now as it would have been in Moliere's day.
