I gotta wonder, where was all the "hate" in this book?
There were two things that really bothered me: him having a girlfriend but still giving leads to Amelia, and that surprise pregnancy twist. Ugh.
But you know what I actually liked? The whole mess of emotions, the confusion, and the fear that the characters were going through. It felt so damn real, and I gotta admit, it hit me right in the feels. I even shed a few tears because I related so freaking much to the main characters. Longing for someone for ages but not being able to have them in your life? It's like a punch to the gut, worse than anything else. So yeah, it was a good read, despite the annoyances.
I just wish the book was a tad longer and had more moments with Bea and Justin. Those scenes were absolute gold, and it sucks that it ended too quickly. Like, seriously, why'd it have to be over already? Ugh, frustrating.
P.S. Can we talk about that tour scene? Man, I bawled my eyes out. Been in that exact same place before, and letting go of someone you're so damn attached to is just excruciatingly painful. I was a mess for a whole week. But hey, at least her situation turned out better in the end. That brought some relief. <3

Male MC makes me uncomfortable. Treating baby nicely but other than that red flags across the board.

THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD BUT SO TORTUROUSLY SLOW PACED. that was literally the only problem. the writing and details were good but there were a few time skips and setbacks that i didnt really enjoy :/ the book had some funny and really sweet moments got me smiling but also moments where i just felt so sad and cried. i didnt like how insecure the fc was BUT there was character development so it was okay. roomhate quite literally defined second chance at love.
THE PREGNANCY WAS SO SURPRISING AND DID NOT EXPECT IT AT ALL!!! AND THE SMUT MY GOSH!! but it was so wholesome and endearing afterwards with the baby, i loved every part of it. i also loved how real it was and how it showed that life was full of unexpected things :)

I loved this book! It's a slow-burner in terms of 🌶 but when it gets there...oh my word. Also, I think I'm in love with Justin's character - who doesn't want a sexy, broody musician who protects you and dedicates songs to you?😍
