Didn't even start. Enjoyed all the other books well enough, but the actress who plays Daphne in the show put me off to her character and I am no at all a fan of Daphne raping Simon while he sleeps in order for her to have a child.

I had mixed opinions about the show, and now have mixed opinions about the books. There are some fairly big differences between the two, but I did not particularly mind. This book is a quick read and starts off well. Later, however, there is a specific scene that left a bad taste in my mouth and lowered my overall enjoyment of the book. Outside of Daphne, Simon, and Violet, all of the characters seem very one-dimensional.
