This was a fun yet slightly annoying read. I liked the twists and turns, the writing is great, I’m just a frustrated  by the ending. But the Thursday Murder Club members are wonderful, so I’m definitely going to keep reading the series.

This is technically a re-read for me. One member of the club does annoy me a little but the rest of the characters are well written. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, and we get a glimpse into how they cope with the challenges of old age. As for the actual murder mystery, there were some good twists and turns but the murder of Tony was really obvious. The other mysteries were more interesting.

Cozy mystery genre. Nice start to series, lovable characters. Excited for the upcoming streaming series with Helen Mirren!

I loved this so much. Every single character is just so lovable in every single way. Kept me guessing the entire way through, had twists and turns at every corner. Funny and mysterious and sad and everything in between this book just makes you feel the broadest range of emotions. 100% deserves the hype it’s been getting for years. Gonna go and hug my grandparents now

This was quite a delightful mystery. I switched to the audiobook part way through and enjoyed that even more.
