Ugh I can't even. No offence to all of these great authors, but this bored me to death. Only a few of the stories were somewhat entertaining and even them were borderline unbearable.

Somewhat disappointing; being a geek, I was expecting this to be full of a variety of geek references, but the scope was actually quite limited. Sad for those of us who aren't Star Trek, Star Wars, or World of Warcraft-brand geeks. Still clever and cute, though.

I wish I would have made notes to review each story separately, but I didn't. Overall I enjoyed the book. I laughed a lot - and remember wishing that some stories were longer. I could relate to much of the geekiness and had many laughs.

I don't often read short stories, and reading Geektastic reminded me why - I'm a greedy reader. Too often, as I reached the end of the story, I wanted to find out what happened next and could have quite happily continued reading about these delightful characters.

My favourites from the volume were written by Cassandra Clare, Garth Nix, Kelly Link, Wendy Mass and the opening story from Holly Black and Cecil Castellucci, the editors of the book. It was a wonderful showcase of writers, some of whom I knew already and some of whom I will be reading more from in the future.

The book was bursting with passion and enthusiasm, and I adored the comics littered throughout, beautifully illustrating what is required of those seeking to embrace geekdom.

Lovely collection of people, I love every single person featured. I also really liked the comic things in between.

I'm a geek but I didn't find myself really enjoying this, it was meh and mediocre with no peaks.

I've actually only read John Green's story and looked at some of the comics..I will read the whole thing eventually, though.

Some were better than others (as often happens with collections) and this really defines "geek" broadly from art geek, to sci fi geek to band geek etc. Most were humorous to varying degrees. It was a great way to pass small amounts of time - nice shorts.

I was slow to reading this book because it's stories are separated into small novels. As someone who has attended a lot of cons in her lifetime and enjoys the "geek/nerdy" side of things, I found a lot of these stories to be cute and thoroughly enjoyable! I highly suggest this to anyone who als0 is interested in these authors, but is unsure if they'll enjoy their works.
