This was such an amazing book! My son picked it out at the bookstore, and we have been reading it at bedtime the last couple of weeks. It’s Game of Throne for kids, and I am HERE FOR IT! I can’t wait to read the 2nd book in the series.

The first time I read this was maybe a decade ago, and the twist took me by surprise. Now, rereading it, the only thing I remembered was the twist and I greatly enjoyed all the subtle foreshadowing and double meanings behind things said and done.

 It took me a little bit to get into it, but by the 100 page mark I was committed to finishing today. I've never read this book before, but it gave me nostalgia as it very much reads like a fantasy middle grade book from 2012, and I mean that in a good way. This was a fun book, and I look forward to when I can pick up a copy of the next book.

I loved this book so much . I can't tell you why it took me an entire year to finish it though . My only problem with it was that I found it a bit boring toward the middle.

ORPHAN TO PRINCE! READ IT!!!
This book was incredibly intriguing and kept me engaged the entire time I read it! I could hardly put it down! The plot twist was unexpected and a wonderful addition to this already amazing work! Highly recommend!
