Crave the Illicit is book three in the Illicit Brotherhood series. It is a teacher/student, forbidden romance. This time we get Chanda & Jose's story, but we still see what's going on with some of our favorites from the previous two books as well. You will be hooked from the start. It's full of twists and turns, action, suspense and shocking moments. These author sure do know how to leave you with more questions then you started with and a cliffhanger that has you screaming for more. I can't wait for the next one.

Book #3 in the series takes you back into the depraved world of The Illicit. You get a teacher/student, forbidden romance in Jose & Chanda’s story. These authors definitely know how to draw you in from the start, but then have you screaming in frustration by the end with those cliffhangers! Lol The suspense and non stop action and twists, made this book intriguing and left me with so many more questions. I have my suspicions, but can’t wait to read more.

These authors are an amazing duet! With each book in The Illicit Brotherhood they manage to surprise me, make me think about thousands of theories and I really enjoy their complex and interesting world that they have created together, although I have to say that each cliffhanger makes me die a little too

I'm digging Jose! Chanda, I don't know. I'm hot and cold with her.

Lee, I just want to grab him and cuddle him and make it all better.

My thoughts on the killers have changed a bit. Now I'm thinking maybe the Steffan & Soren's mom and Lee's mom. BUT, I'm still thinking of the other female I mentioned in my review of the 2nd book.

What happens at the funeral at the end. That was dirty!! Unforgivable!!!

Copy received from the authors. Voluntarily reviewing and all opinions are objective and my own.

I enjoyed this one more than I had the first two. I think the story was easier to fall into. I enjoyed the romance more. It was less complicated.

But I didn’t love it. I felt like the plot was building and building and then suddenly there. Almost felt rushed toward the ending. Chanda was where I struggled. I wanted to like her but most of the time, I didn’t. And I struggled to keep up with her changing emotions and personalities. We’re introduced to her as being more dominant than Jose, so at first, I loved when these two met each other again. Jose tries to be that and she just knocks him down a few pegs. But then later, it’s like she loses all of this characterization.

It’s a good book. A bit confusing with the whole series plot. The cliffhanger of all cliffhanger endings.

“I’ve never been a good girl. Unfortunately, I crave the illicit.”

We're diving back into the world of the Illicit Brotherhood with book 3 but this time from the perspective of Jose and Chanda (Lee's older sister).

I was hoping with this one we would start to see the story wrap up and find out who was behind everything BUT we did find out some more important clues and another character unexpectedly revealed themselves.

Looking forward to getting back to the twins and Taylor in the next with the addition of some Lee maybe?

Gail Haris and Ashton Brooks continues to surprise me with their suspenseful, mysterious reads!

Crave The Illicit is an age gap, suspenseful, dark romance that follows a secret society full of twists and turns! This read was so intriguing! Not only did questions get answered, we got a bunch more questions that need solving. I adored Jose and his spunk right off the bat. He definitely wasn’t hesitant at all. Chandra was the star of the book in my opinion. She is a true vixen and has so much to offer to this world. These two are absolutely steamy! I love this world and all the twist and turns. This series definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I have so many questions I still need answered and I’m looking forward to finding out more from these two authors! I’m am counting the second for the next book. I definitely recommend this book and this series for others.

This is the third book. It's angsty and full of suspense. Fast paced and keeps you reading! It was good and ends on a cliffy.

I received an arc and this review is my own.
