Lacked investment I the characters. I just didn't care how their relationship developed or if they did or didn't achieve any goals or growth. It wasn't interesting enough for me to finish unfortunately.

This one's slow burn was a pain in my ass😂 now I am really sure that slow burn is my go to, bc it frustrates me.

So if frienemies to lovers, slow burn is your thing. Go nuts. I

Ryder's denial but he fell hard and it slaps.

He was really sweet when he wanted to enhance his hearing bc he heard Willa's voice for the first time, and couldn't get enough of it.

Willa's stubborn as hell but I'll give her the W in her redemption in the end. She's also a unique character. Really tough and a good athlete. 

First thing I liked about this one are the flaws of the characters. I liked that there's a character with hearing impairment and sharing their story in a story.
