I'm so obsessed with the anime so I wanted to read the Manga. I loved it so much! The first volume is just like the first couple episodes and I really loved reading it too. I love the characters and it's so underrated. I'm rewatching the anime for the second time and I wish there were more episodes. I really recommend this series to anyone that loves Manga and anime :)

I read this waaayyy back in my freshman year of high school (ages ago basically), and I re-read it again last night, so basically I'm feeling nostalgic and loving over a wonderful series. Plus, if it helps my reading challenge, well why not set the date for this year :)

Nine years after my initial read I dusted this off and started to skim through it but found myself rereading the whole volume again.
Great set up of the cursed animal zodiac members and Tohru unintentionally finding out their secret. Even though she has experienced tragedy and loss, Tohru remains the sweetest, most positive, character I think I've ever read. Many readers dislike her naivety and eagerness to trust and please but her personality and her never-give-up nature endeared me to her. Plus, I still adore the under-cat Kyo irregardless of his anger issues with Yuki the rat.
A great fantasy manga with lots of contemporary issues and I liked it as much as the first time I read it. Now I'm feeling all nostalgic about this wonderful cast of characters and want to read the other 22 volumes again!

This stands for the whole series, which I adored. All in all- it’s a series about trauma. So much trauma, and dealt so well. The main romance was so well declined, and I loved Akito’s storyarch as well. Have to take .25 points for all the adult dating teenagers. Gross.
