This is a love story that balances warm and cosy with steam and passion.

Instalove is not always a trope that I gel well with but Melanie Moreland set a pace that felt slow and considered, yet was actually quite a whirlwind. It was a perfect combination for me. I sunk into and was enveloped by the love and joy Daniel and Avery found with each another.

This was beautfully low angst although there were several challenges that Daniel and Avery had to overcome. Melanie Moreland sprinkled in a few entertaining and funny moments as well.
I adored the epilogue which wasn't quite the usual format but provided a perfect ending to this beautiful story.

Four and a half stars!

Daniel and Avery were super adorable with their instant attraction to one another. I loved how Daniel couldn't get enough of her and their first time kissing was super hot. A great fast read!

Very pleased with this book. There was no over the top drama, or some crazy ex to stir things up. Instead, it just told a story of two people who knew instantly they had something more from just a kiss. Kismet. I liked that the met kinda similar to the commercial of strangers kissing and having it caught on camera. The steamy scenes were graphic, but were well placed and offered a fluidity to the story. I LOVED this epilogue of various glimpses of dates over the next 25 years.

Simply put, this book was sweet and worth reading. It was a nice reminder that love and romance doesm't need all the fluff to be poignant.

I freaking love instalove stories and this one was great. I will say there was alot of gasping from Avery for some reason but otherwise it was a lovely story about falling in love. I loved watching their life unfold.

You have to run

Melanie Moreland’s first book of the InstaSpark series is a keeper! I laughed so hard that I snorted when Avery told Daniel, “You have to run.” This book is funny, sweet, sexy and a great story!

A bet and a favor lead to the InstaSpark and so much fun! Five stars for sure!!!!

Think about the time in your life that stare at this gorgeous stranger. And automatically think about how kissing them would be. Avery was given that chance, by helping out her best friend with a task. It's hard to believe sometimes, but love at first sight, or kiss in this matter, can happen! Avery and Daniel just work together, perfectly. They click, they fit, they are just adorable together!

This is my first book by Melanie Moreland, and I can't wait to read more. She is an incredible author.

I started this book so I’d have a boring book to help put me to sleep at night. I knew it wasn’t going to be a great novel, that’s why I chose it. Honestly it was a cute story and perfect for what I needed up until the very end when it dragged on and on into the future. It was ridiculous and unnecessary. Very cringey watching them navigate parenthood but mainly focus on the father daughter relationship even though there were two boys as well? Idk overall it was kind of a weird book, not my normal read, but it did help me just sleep rather than getting so wrapped up in my book that I became an insomniac.

Holy crap! I couldn’t do it! I dnf’d this one at the epilogue.

I had to stop, it was making me dry heave from it’s nauseating sweetness. This book was the longest insta love I’ve ever read. Usually insta love is reserved for novellas and short stories and if you’ve ever wondered why, read this book. It was so sickeningly sweet. They fell in love at first meet and then NOTHING HAPPENED. There was literally no plot in this whole honking book.
It was them dating and sleeping together and the heroine crying or gasping or whimpering or tearing up, except when her eyes were misting and the couple times when tears ran down her cheeks.
They fucked against the wall about 65 times - it’s basically 3/4 of the ‘story’.
There was no conflict, no pivotal plot points, no denouement. The last five chapters felt like epilogue and then the epilogue - well I bailed on it. I couldn’t do it anymore. I actually cleaned my house to avoid reading this book. I kept thinking something big would happen to take me away from the mundane cloying monotony of the storyline but nothing ever did. This wasn’t a story, it was just a couple kissing and fucking and crying and then the end.
