I have had this title on my Kindle for a while and I am not sure why it took me so long to get to it. I enjoyed it a lot (as I always do with Sophia Money-Coutts' novels) because it was an easy and light read, exactly what I needed!

This story is perfect for fans of Lucy Diamond and I devoured it quickly... plus I was rooting for Art and Nell from the very beginning!

Eleanor Mason is fine. Better than fine actually.

She's got the perfect job as a lawyer, supportive parents and a wonderful flat in London. And then there's Gus, her very sweet, very long term boyfriend who she has sex with at least once a week.

She's completely fine - until she heads back to her parents town for a few days and sees Arthur. Lord Arthur Drummond, to be precise. Rich, successful, gorgeous and married to a stunning Heiress. But underneath all that, he's just Art - the one who got away, her former childhood friend and the one person who's ever broken her heart.

And the longer she's in her old town, the more her life slowly feels less and less perfect. Is this just a case of the grass always looking greener on the other side? Or is Nell just settling for fine because she's scared to reach out for something amazing?

Did You Miss Me? managed to completely capture that nostalgic pang-in-your-stomach feeling when you think about going home. It was a beautiful story about roots and growing up and that desperate longing for everything to be exactly as we saw it when we were young.

I saw so much of myself in Nell - trapped in almost painful boredom and suffocating from being stuck in a rut but not knowing how to break the endless cycle she'd created for herself. This was a love story, yes, and while I adored fawning over Art and trying to figure out who Nell should really be with, that was just a small part of the story. Every single person we met had their own story to tell, their own vibrant personality that stood out and each story interwove into one in a spectacular way.

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thank you to Sophia Money-Coutts, HQ and NetGalley for this ARC in return for an honest review.

This was such a fun read. Very British, which I like. Okay, I could have done without the very detailed description of what exactly happened when the female MC was a teenager, but all in all, highly recommended. It made me laugh out loud on several occasions and even though there were no real surprises plot wise, still well worth the read.

Plot: Nell Mason is extremely happy with her life – or at least, that’s what she tells herself. She’s absolutely fine living with her sweet, if slightly dull, boyfriend Gus in their London flat where they have very sensible sex once (OK, sometimes twice) a week. She’s definitely not stuck in a rut.

But when Nell bumps into childhood friend and first love Arthur Drummond who broke her heart fifteen years ago, she’s more than a little shaken. The seemingly perfect life she’s worked so hard for starts to feel, well, less perfect. Maybe Nell’s been kidding herself all these years. Can she ever get over her first love?

⭐ Money-Couts bring us a laugh-out-loud, swoon-worthy (Art) escapism one again! A must-read for all uplit fans!
⭐ Hilarious, I was laughing from the very first page! Nell's deliciously dark sense of humor really appealed to me & Gus's pet names never failed to put a smile on my face.
⭐ Every single character had their own vibrant personality & something unique to add to the story.
⭐ The writing is so effortless & engaging it was terribly hard to pit down.
⭐ That first love feeling is captured so intensely, the pages for your teenage love & heartbreak are inevitable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'll admit, I didn't enjoy this story as much as Sophia's previous books.

Still good but it just took me longer to get into it.

The main character remained my favourite part of it all. I guess in parts she reminded me of myself.

It's a book that still had a pretty good mixture of humour and romance, I think if I hadn't read The Wish List first I possibly could have liked it more but I couldn't help but compare.

Over all I would still recommend.
