Kept me interested from the beginning and the twist at the end had me shocked but also made everything come together and make sense.

This book as many could attest to is a tempestuous journey. Forget the husbands, Evelyn showcases the very essence it is to grapple with being queer and vulnerable and to live with that throughout a time where that would wreck a persons livelihood. But this book is not just that, and that alone makes it beautiful. Evelyn Hugo touches on how multifaceted life truly is, this book truly encapsulates how dimensional existence is.

Because I picked this book unaware, and I worry others might too, I think it’s so important to put this out into the world: this book grossly glorifies suicide.
