I loved it, but it wasn’t as exciting as the first two for me. Definitely looking forward to the next installment!

the weakest out of the 3, and yet it still wasn’t enough to bump the rating down from 5! the first half was a bit slow but THAT ENDING was INSANE!

Another excellent installment in the Stormlight Archive series. Brandon Sanderson is one of the best and most innovative fantasy writers around and his stories never unfold in the way you expect them to. This book is no different, focusing on Dalinar and finally delving into the mysteries of his past, revealing things about Dalinar, the Alethi, and Roshar that are completely unexpected. The continuation of Shallan and Kaladin's stories delves into questions of self, mental health and trauma as do the tales of the other developing radiants. Just an amazing work of art.

This was my first read (or rather listen) of this book. It did grip me slightly less than the first two. I think my fav so far is volume two. Three is still an amazing book, and there are many great and tender and sad and funny and shocking and awesome and terrible moments in it. I was surprised by my growing interest in characters that had not intrigued me before. Among the great and the middling moments, there were one or two that I did not like. But it would be strange in such a big book if that did not happen. And I also realize that what I don‘t like is someone else’s fav scene. I also was positively surprised by the romance. I had my doubts before and must say he did well there. Nice.

This book had some parts that were hard to read - but they really supported the very very solid conclusion and it was worth it (to me).
Felt like some events were rushed or not really developed in a way that was consistent with the depth of other parts - felt weird that way.

De los tres publicados, el que menos me ha gustado de todos (no quiero decir que sea malo). Mi mayor problema con el libro es que Dalinar es un personaje que meh, no me interesa mucho, y este tomo se centra en él.
