Ending:

At the New Years Eve party Andrew and Sophie end up getting together and talking about the future. Andrew will go to school in New York and wait 5 months for Sophie to go college there. She has become more confident about her work and has found her unique style - flowers!

Micah doesn't end up kissing Lance (the guy she works with and is unaware they are amazing for each other) but there is still hope for them.

Side note - Sophie comes to the realisation her mom isn't all that bad and actually she's taken the wrong side all these years; it isn't her moms fault her dad left her and made her a struggling single parent.

Maybe This Time is about a girl named Sophie who works for the local florist, attending events and arranging bouquets. At a valentine's event she meets Andrew- son a famous new chef in town and required at all the events Sophie has to be at. They have a rough first meeting and Sophie thinks he is arrogant and entitled and Andrew thinks she's a snob. At every event throughout the year, they keep getting in each other's way until eventually, they end up becoming friends and then maybe something more.

After [b:P.S. I Like You|25486998|P.S. I Like You|Kasie West|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1442247987l/25486998._SX50_.jpg|45261093] became my number #1 Kasie book, I didn't think another one would dethrone it so soon but here we are. This book was just everything I wanted and everything I needed right now. It has the classic Kasie West wholesomeness and just all around cute but without being shallow or childish. I don't mind high school romances but this one not taking place in high school was really nice.

This entire book is told from event to event in snapshots and I loved that so much. Instead of getting filler, it gets right to the good stuff. Also I was weirdly into seeing all the different events and how they were run behind the scenes... don't @ me. This relationship is hate to love and watching them become friends (slowly) into romance was pure. Plus so freaking adorable. They only see each other during the events so all the development between them happens purely at the events, throughout the entire year. They were honestly just so good together and I really loved them, even (especially) when they were bitching at each other.

Sophie's friend Micah has a large part in this too and I loved their strong friendship that had drama but it was actual necessary drama and not some petty pointless drama. Sophie's relationship with her family was pretty complicated too. While everything is fluffy and cute, some serious topics are still put into play but I like how it doesn't go too hard, just hard enough.

Plus FLOWERS. So many flowers! Love that! I'm so glad that I loved this one because I was worried after I wasn't the hugest fan of her last book but Kasie West has yet again blown me away with the cuteness.

Highly recommend this great romcom.

The first half the main character annoyed me quite a bit. It could have been the narrator, too, since I listened to this on audio. Sixty percent of the way through, all the relationships got so much better. I really enjoyed all the fall stuff. I also liked the little old man at the Valentines senior dinner, and Mika and her family. Over all it was entertaining to listen to on my car rides.

I liked it a lot. My biggest two problems are just that Sophie looks way too old on the cover (plus, she drives a flower van everywhere!), and that the town she lives in is somehow both small enough that random people in town gossip about Sophie and her ambitions, but big enough that at the beginning of the book she doesn't see Andrew for months between events.

Felt a little bit too dramatic for me and would have loved an epilogue set in New York, but overall very cute

Far from being Kasie's best, but also far from being her worst. This was just a middle of the road little thing that didn't have the charm or the finesse of By Your Side or Listen To Your Heart but also wasn't as dry and annoying as Love, Life and the List or Lucky In Love.

This was such a unique story.

I love Kasie Wests's stories. Her writing style is so compelling and really invites you into the story. She then introduces her fabulous characters to you so you love them while still seeing their flaws.

This features;
- hate to love trope
- flowers galore
- tasty food
- an adorable friendship or two

The main character Sophie was easy to connect with. I really saw the story shine through her eyes. Andrew was so unexpected. I was ready for some spoiled boy who would always have his way. But he wasn't one, I soon figured out along with Sophie.

The story was similar to some of West's other books in a few aspects. But food catering and flower shop catering was a new world that I honestly haven't - before this - read a book in. It was so enjoyable and funny as I took a step into Sophie's crazy life.
