This was such a good character-focused read. I thought the reader could really feel the complecated situation Korede has found herself in and understand why she does the things that she does throughout the story.

It's a fast-paced and interesting plot, though something about it just didn't 100% work for me. It was a fine read, and I thought the story was interesting and I liked it, but maybe the writing just felt a little abrupt and I just wanted a little more... change in the narrative? by the end of the book? Again, not bad, just maybe the style isn't 100% for me, even if I did enjoy the story.
