Life would be better if I have my own Roman. Fuck, I love him. I really do. Bella, you lucky annoying little cutie.

One question, can they really get away that easily for murdering people? Or did I somehow miss the part where someone, maybe Damien, took care of the bodies and stuff? How about Millie? HUH? Did I miss something?

Bella did annoy the hell out of me from the beginning to the end, but she was annoyingly cute, so I forgive her. But Roman? Damn, Roman was so..so..so..psychopathicly(?) good. I love him. He was like..the greenest red flag ever. Like he was so ready to beg whenever his girl was mad. Ok, he was (not) a bit controlling, obsessed, possessive, not right in the head, probably a sociopath, a murderer, but he was willing to do anything for his Bella and I loved him for it.

Minus 1.5 stars for how easy everything seemed to be after he rescued her. What the hell?

Wow, I don't even know where to start with this book!
The all-consuming love Roman has for Bella is the stuff of legends - she is his entire world, and he would (literally) kill for her!

The writing hit me in my feels a few times throughout the book, giving me a very visceral sense of panic and loss. Other times, you could practically feel the love bleeding out of the pages!
Then, there were moments that had me cracking up with laughter.
The first half of the book is spent flicking between past and present, which can be a little confusing, but by the end of it you really feel like you've grown up and bonded with the characters.
The book is also extremely quotable - one of my favourites is "The last time you surprised me, you committed double homicide."

Honestly, it's a great read, and I'm a little sad it's finished!

I just couldn’t get into this book. I thought both main characters were super immature. Nothing they did ever made any sense to me and things they thought were a big deal to me seemed insignificant. Overall I got to the point where we caught up to the present and just never wanted to pick it back up. Bro doesn’t hear from his girl in prison and thinks she bailed? I hate miscommunication trope so much.
