Very simple book honestly. You can feel that it’s very early 2000s vibe and I just love it !! The conflict isn’t extreme so it’s very chill to read if you’re not in the mood of books where you need to do a lot of critical thinking. Overall 3 stars is very good for chick lit genre books i find it really fun !!

I haven't given a rating this low for quite some time now, and it's disheartening that I'm doing it tonight. To be honest, this book is okay. Maybe I'm not really into this kind of chick lit because it involves a lot of social activities which are not my thing at all (except for the book club meeting of some sort!) I won't deny also the fact that the plot is flat, there are no events that heighten the story that can at least give the readers some attachment to the work.

I must say that even though it's not as hype as any other, this one is still worth trying to read. Who knows maybe this light read of a book can help you get through a bad day. :)

I thought it had a rather slow start, however, when it got going, it took off! I could not put it down.

Fun, but the characters were not very compelling. The main character was so unconvincing. She didn't seem like someone who would actually exist in real life--an investment banker who lives in a tiny apartment with a yorkie and loves romance novels. She's really good at party planning, but she loves staying in. She doesn't know what a Birkin is, but her best friend of ten years is from a rich New York family and vacations in the Hamptons. ??? Also her uncle is stereotypically gay, but also a rabid Republican. Doesn't make sense.

This is a light, easy read from the author of "The Devil Wears Prada". The character, plot structure and resolution are essentially the same in both books, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

I love Lauren Weisberger. It felt like a lot of fluff but it turned out quite alright.

Funny book to read and entertaining. Much more better than the Devil wears Prada.
