I just feel like Fall is the perfect season to be reading this series. There’s something about the magic and cute coziness that just really fits for this time of year. The chapter title pages were especially detailed and beautiful, it was like playing I Spy in a world you just wanted to explore more. My favourite parts were of course the cats and also the dragons, their cycle of life was so touching. The world-building is intriguing and I can’t wait to continue on with this series (I may have immediately started the anime after reading this volume 🤭).

I remember this being popular a couple of years ago. When it got an anime adaptation, I think. I don't think it's for me though. Not really a fan of Chise being 15 to Elias's however many years. Also this volume just bored me, and I lost motivation to finish it after the first chapter. Based on the stuff I saw a couple of years ago I thought this would be something different.
