Bernie proves he has not lost touch with the people, and specially, the youth, of America in this book. He laid out clear and direct reasons for why our systems are failing and why the results will only change with action and organization. Though it can be daunting, I think it’s impossible to read this without coming out of it a little more hopeful.

So validating!
Bernie has the tendency to get on his stump and state the same (very important) talking points when he is interviewed. So I have loved listening to his books and letting him get into the weeds about the nuances of these issues. Nuances that can not be captured in soundbites, tweets or debates.
This book is very modern. Impressively so - addressing issues like artificial intelligence and its impact on the workforce. I did not expect Bernie to go there, but the chapter on AI was brilliant!
Anyone who admires Bernie is gonna love this book. As well as anyone who is angry about capitalism (most of my generation). Like the title says, it's OK to be angry about that and Bernie is eager to tell you why your anger is valid!
