There were a few things which relied a little too heavily on coincidence. Otherwise, still highly enjoyable.

Clever mystery. I guessed some but not all of the various aspects of this one.

A bit of fun; not Christie's best, but a pleasant way to spend an evening. While this is a Poirot book, the real investigator is Secret Service agent Colon Lamb, who narrates much of the book. A pleasant change from the much less intelligent Hastings as narrator.

This one had a great premise and likeable characters. Poirot's involvement in the story is negligible. She must have really been getting sick of him at this point.

This was my first Agatha book, I read when I was around 14 and still remember it from that first and only read! That tells you when something is good.

Almost DNFed this sooo many times but figured that it would get better and I needed to know what happened.
...wasn't worth it! This is a "Poirot book" with 90% of it without Hercule Poirot. And that's just stupid and very boring. Second star only for the mystery and general writing (but imo don't read this for the mystery either).
