This was such a cute coming of age story. I loved Imogen’s realisation of her own queerness. And how diverse and welcoming the college friends were of her.

But I swear to god Gretchen was so fucking annoying. She was a red flag from the get go but the shit she said about Immy coming out and her devaluing Immy’s queerness just because she was jealous 🙄

This book is so complicated… yet so simple at the same time. Awesome representation of three-dimensional queer characters of all kinds. Really loved the exploitation of nuance and discourse and community, etc

This is very relatable. As a queer person, I still question if I am "secretly" straight due to being in a straight-presenting relationship for over a decade. It touches on some great points, especially not feeling "queer enough" and "taking up space." I have met people who do think some of those things, but thankfully not friends (at least not about my queerness).

I am not quite the target demographic for this book (being "old"), but when has that ever stopped me?

Literally kicked my feet and giggled for a good chunk of this book.

On a serious note this was sweet. I enjoyed reading about Imogen and seeing how she came to terms with discovering something new about herself. I don’t know if it was the pace I read this or the book pacing but I zoomed through this and I feel like a lot happened in the 9? Days that this story took place. I also really loved the friendship that she had with Lili and her little crew as well. Very cute :)
the biphobia from Gretchen was horrendous though
